Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Placido Laurgain kicked off to start the match. Placido Laurgain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Bebeto de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute of the match, Leonardo Rodríguez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bebeto de Salles was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Leonardo Rodríguez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Bebeto de Salles 8 minutes into the match. Leonardo Rodríguez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 15th playminute. Cauã Maciel hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to União Verde FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Cauã Maciel hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, União Verde FC's goalkeeper Bebeto de Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Rodríguez. Leonardo Rodríguez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bebeto de Salles firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 42nd minute, Jorge Rinaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laércio Damião was the one to do the kick off. Bebeto de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Tiso in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, União Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Rodríguez came free, but Bebeto de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SAN LORENZO FC were furious when Ubaldo Jerardo was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 63 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Jerardo. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ubaldo Jerardo hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, União Verde FC's Vladimir Motta tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When SAN LORENZO FC's Elias Tiso in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye União Verde FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Cordarryl in the 69th minute of play forced União Verde FC's goalkeeper Bebeto de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte do Vale hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Elias Tiso might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bebeto de Salles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Tiso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 73rd match minute, União Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte do Vale to maneuver through the defense. União Verde FC's Bebeto de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Tiso in the 76th minute of play. Elias Tiso scored 4-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bebeto de Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elias Tiso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bebeto de Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. If Elias Tiso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Elias Tiso came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the SAN LORENZO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Tiso couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, União Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Tiso came free, but Bebeto de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Elias Tiso managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Tiso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebeto de Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SAN LORENZO FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while União Verde FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
