The referee felt a red card was in order, 2 minutes into the game, when Huang Gang put in a rough tackle. Fernan Berart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Yin Wei Cheng tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Dennis came free, but Esbjörn Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pierre-Emile Højbjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Indalecio hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Esbjörn Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Mutumba, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Esbjörn Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Mutumba, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Vykans Vikingar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Love Bianca fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Love Bianca came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcus Ekrot could save by the left post. In the 38th minute, Tage Glanselius made a precise shot to the right of Esbjörn Tunander. GrassNuts FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Esbjörn Tunander came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Vykans Vikingar's Tage Glanselius. But to his dismay, Tage Glanselius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olaf Skaradowski during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Olaf Skaradowski hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Love Bianca was the one to do the kick off. Esbjörn Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Micucci in the 51st minute of play. Emmanuel Dennis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Esbjörn Tunander made a huge save. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Christoffer Johansson replaced Elliott Bogren. GrassNuts FC's Philip Åkerman was substituted for Love Bianca. Vykans Vikingar's Fernan Berart shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Esbjörn Tunander but with some difficulty. Esbjörn Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Micucci in the 64th minute of the match. Philip Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Ekrot having to interfere. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Börje Stål replaced Emmanuel Dennis. With a little luck, GrassNuts FC's Esbjörn Tunander got control of the ball when Börje Stål tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tage Glanselius got free with Esbjörn Tunander in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Mutumba took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esbjörn Tunander. Esbjörn Tunander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in the 81st minute of play. Marcus Ekrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philip Åkerman went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genaro Remicio in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esbjörn Tunander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Pierre-Emile Højbjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The GrassNuts FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vykans Vikingar's performance. The match ended with a win for Vykans Vikingar.
