In the 2nd minute, Calle Lekberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Falck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Truls Landsem in the 5th minute of play. Joachim Forseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Albom in the 7th minute of the match. Eskil Lindblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Falck was a little too slow when Daniel Nannskog got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Du Lin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Forseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Du Lin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Tommy Falck made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Daniel Nannskog sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Truls Landsem in the 23rd minute of play forced FS Elite's goalkeeper Tommy Falck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes Saga TF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christian Wiklund who took care of the corner kick. Joachim Forseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calle Lekberg in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Du Lin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joachim Forseth was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 34th minute Du Lin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Forseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, FS Elite's goalkeeper Tommy Falck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Truls Landsem. Joachim Forseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Lekberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Nannskog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Tommy Falck made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Lekberg in the 45th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jarle Westby made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FS Elite's goal looked a bit too open when Truls Landsem came free, but Tommy Falck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 51st minute Truls Landsem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Falck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, FS Elite's goal looked a bit too open when Jarle Westby came free, but Tommy Falck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FS Elite's Tommy Falck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Truls Landsem in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, Saga TF's Joachim Forseth got control of the ball when Eskil Lindblom tried to sneak it across the goal line. FS Elite made a substitution. Kent Åkerström replaced Calle Lekberg. After 64 played minutes Saga TF got a freekick which was hit by Peter Lindberg. If Eskil Lindblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Persson came free, but Joachim Forseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Falck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Nannskog, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute of the match, Eskil Lindblom got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joachim Forseth was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Adrian Albom received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joachim Forseth came out and tried to block the shot, but Adrian Albom slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 79th minute. Jarle Westby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jedrzej Chrzan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Saga TF's zone, Kent Åkerström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joachim Forseth came out of the goal and Kent Åkerström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Kent Åkerström sped through Saga TF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joachim Forseth. The FS Elite supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FS Elite would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
