Karl Springfält scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esbjörn Tunander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. BV Borussia Hammarby's Rune Fristedt got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Honorio Florin made a precise shot to the right of Esbjörn Tunander. GrassNuts FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When BV Borussia Hammarby's Orvar Kihlman in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GrassNuts FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orvar Kihlman in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esbjörn Tunander saved GrassNuts FC from getting behind. Orvar Kihlman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vitaliy van der Aa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ingemar Samuelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yin Wei Cheng got a throw-in 38 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Olaf Skaradowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Florin in the 40th minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Esbjörn Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esbjörn Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Kihlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The GrassNuts FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BV Borussia Hammarby were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitaliy van der Aa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Love Bianca managed to get in a good position for a shot. GrassNuts FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Love Bianca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingemar Samuelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esbjörn Tunander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. GrassNuts FC's Philip Åkerman was substituted for Love Bianca. A collision led to GrassNuts FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Huang Gang hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, BV Borussia Hammarby's Orvar Kihlman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esbjörn Tunander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orvar Kihlman might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esbjörn Tunander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orvar Kihlman ran back to his position shaking his head. Esbjörn Tunander made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Orvar Kihlman sent off a good shot on target. After 77 played minutes GrassNuts FC got a freekick which was hit by Yin Wei Cheng. After 78 played minutes BV Borussia Hammarby got a freekick which was hit by Nicklas Forsell. Pär Almkvist made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg. Esbjörn Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orvar Kihlman, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Orvar Kihlman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Esbjörn Tunander made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded BV Borussia Hammarby left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GrassNuts FC.
