U21 Indonesia's Jérémy Špokas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Simon Kjær in the 36 minute of the game. Jérémy Špokas kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, U21 Belgium's Thibaud Schoolmeesters got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jehad Sungkono to strike the kick off in the second half. Anis Prabowo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibaud Schoolmeesters in the 52nd minute of play. Soren Van Hoyveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. U21 Belgium's Kasper Van de Loock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Belgium from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the game, Gregoire Van Kelf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Kasper Van de Loock was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Imral Kundang charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After having played for 77 minutes, Abel Eekhout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Eekhout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. U21 Belgium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Indonesia the free kick. The supporters of U21 Indonesia booed when U21 Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georges Van Der Talen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, U21 Belgium's Fransesco Schaerlaekens got a free kick in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Belgium's zone, Jehad Sungkono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasper Van de Loock came out of the goal and Jehad Sungkono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Gregoire Van Kelf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Indonesia's Anis Prabowo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of U21 Indonesia booed when U21 Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soren Van Hoyveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball.
