Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Madaleno in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Bakar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Bakar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Geleberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Severo Omero fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaque Mate Ice's protests and gave Severo Omero a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Jaque Mate Ice got a freekick which was hit by Severo Omero. Evelio Geleberto hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Leonel Madaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaque Mate Ice's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Madaleno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Bakar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaque Mate Ice's Leonel Madaleno was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Leonel Madaleno struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Christian Bakar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaque Mate Ice. Christian Bakar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Madaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Eladio's late challenge caught a Jaque Mate Ice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Eladio helped the player get up and apologised. Rodolfo Eladio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Fabio Ricart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute, Leonel Madaleno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Bakar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaque Mate Ice's Leonel Madaleno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christian Bakar. That made the score 4-0 after 46 minutes of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Madaleno made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Claudio Elizardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capillitas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 64 minutes into the match, Capillitas's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Madaleno came free, but Christian Bakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Madaleno in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Bakar saved Capillitas from getting behind. Jaque Mate Ice's Emilio Chico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Ricart in the 70th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Jaque Mate Ice got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Geleberto. 73 minutes into the match, Jaque Mate Ice's goalkeeper Emilio Chico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Ovando. After having played for 76 minutes, Claudio Ovando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capillitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Ovando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Leonel Madaleno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute Leonel Madaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Bakar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Jaque Mate Ice's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Ricart came free, but Emilio Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Capillitas getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Teofilo Bonadona made a great header on Jaque Mate Ice's corner, it was just that Capillitas's Christian Bakar managed to reach the ball for a save. Emilio Chico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Ovando in the 97th minute.
