A hard shot 5 in the game by 陶桑强 from a close distance when the talented Dale Hough managed to make a qualified save. Appleshaw FC's players were relieved. Dale Hough was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 魏迪坤 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Richard Llewellyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trev Lydiate took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 楚皓平. 楚皓平 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Dale Hough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 魏迪坤, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 楚皓平 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Llewellyn in the 27th minute of the match. Trev Lydiate took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 楚皓平. 楚皓平 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If 陶桑强 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, 小城联合's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Llewellyn came free, but 楚皓平 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Trev Lydiate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 小城联合's 魏迪坤 got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 魏迪坤 to make the kick off. 陶桑强 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 55 minutes, Trev Lydiate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Appleshaw FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trev Lydiate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 played minutes 小城联合 got a freekick which was hit by 姜凌远. 楚皓平 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Llewellyn in the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Appleshaw FC's zone, 魏迪坤 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dale Hough came out of the goal and 魏迪坤 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 李辰鹰 charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 李辰鹰 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 65 minutes into the game, one of 小城联合:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, 楚皓平, was totally fooled by Appleshaw FC's Charles Dalton, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Appleshaw FC's Danny Fawcett got a free kick in the 69th minute. 陶桑强 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Appleshaw FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Zak Read hit a great ball. If 陶桑强 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Trev Lydiate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Llewellyn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 楚皓平 came out and tried to block the shot, but Richard Llewellyn slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 87th minute. After having played for 96 minutes, 陶桑强 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 小城联合's supporters crossed their fingers, but 陶桑强 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 101st minute, 魏迪坤 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dale Hough was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Appleshaw FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
