Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Otto Gehlhaar took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Koen Waterman fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAFA United's protests and gave Koen Waterman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, SAFA United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koen Waterman to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match Wander Wald Soccer got a corner. SAFA United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jürgen Abegg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Otto Gehlhaar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute of the match Joost Reitsma sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Stolle skillfully saved the ball. Jürgen Abegg hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Ronald Hofman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Stolle having to interfere. If Joost Reitsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Wander Wald Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Humme. After a rather tough play, SAFA United's Hans Huisingh got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Stephan Huber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wander Wald Soccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Wander Wald Soccer booed when SAFA United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koen Waterman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ronald Hofman managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAFA United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronald Hofman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Stolle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th match minute, Wander Wald Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean Heiß to maneuver through the defense. SAFA United's Jan Israel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephan Huber in the 41st minute of play. Stephan Huber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jan Israel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Wander Wald Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Hofman came free, but Edgar Stolle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in SAFA United's zone, Stephan Huber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Israel came out of the goal and Stephan Huber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jürgen Abegg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jan Israel made a huge save. Felipe Belger made in the 59th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Stephan Huber. If Stephan Huber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Ronald Hofman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAFA United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronald Hofman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Wander Wald Soccer's Sören Wehrheim got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Sören Wehrheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Jürgen Abegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Israel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stephan Huber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Israel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephan Huber in the 84th minute of the match. Jürgen Abegg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SAFA United's Wilfred Veldman was substituted for Guus Schophuis. SAFA United made a substitution. Otto van Dijk replaced Dennis Holten. After 88 played minutes SAFA United got a freekick which was hit by Arjan Mos. If Stephan Huber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SAFA United's Jan Israel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephan Huber in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan Huber in the 96th minute of play forced SAFA United's goalkeeper Jan Israel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wander Wald Soccer played a much better game than SAFA United and deserved their victory. The SAFA United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
