The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Walmyr da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brigid McCollion showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Reidy McPeter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Guilherme Capixaba made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Wiliam de Amorim. Reidy McPeter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Valdir Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Binean McPhil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reidy McPeter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remo Maranhense in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brigid McCollion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brigid McCollion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reidy McPeter in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Linhares saved Iguira SS from getting behind. Walmyr da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brigid McCollion having to interfere. In the 36th minute Remo Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid McCollion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rinneen FC's Brigid McCollion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Rinneen FC from getting a goal against them. Remo Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brigid McCollion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam de Amorim in the 43rd minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Iguira SS's goal looked a bit too open when Reidy McPeter came free, but Valdir Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reidy McPeter to make the kick off. Brigid McCollion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remo Maranhense went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Walmyr da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brigid McCollion having to interfere. If Reidy McPeter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brigid McCollion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Maranhense in the 76th minute of the match. Gealan McTommy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
