Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Wander Wald Soccer's Otto Gehlhaar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Brannon Hughes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Edgar Stolle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stephan Huber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brigid McCollion having to interfere. Pearse McAlphie charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pearse McAlphie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rinneen FC's Pearse McAlphie got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Reidy McPeter notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Wander Wald Soccer's Edgar Stolle. Edgar Stolle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Wander Wald Soccer's Jürgen Abegg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brigid McCollion. That made the score 1-1 after 21 minutes of play. Reidy McPeter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Stolle having to make a save. Reidy McPeter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Stolle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. If Otto Gehlhaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stephan Huber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Brigid McCollion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Otto Gehlhaar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wander Wald Soccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Reidy McPeter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otto Gehlhaar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Brigid McCollion made a huge save. When Stephan Huber fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wander Wald Soccer's protests and gave Stephan Huber a yellow card for diving instead. Stephan Huber hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

If Brannon Hughes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otto Gehlhaar struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Brigid McCollion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wander Wald Soccer. Cormac Deans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Stolle having to interfere. Pearse McAlphie was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Pearse McAlphie kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Brigid McCollion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Huber in the 72nd minute of play. Edgar Stolle made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Brannon Hughes sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute Stephan Huber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid McCollion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Brannon Hughes fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rinneen FC's protests and gave Brannon Hughes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rinneen FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Brannon Hughes hit a great ball. Brigid McCollion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Huber, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Stephan Huber made a precise shot to the right of Brigid McCollion. Rinneen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 93rd minute, Otto Gehlhaar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brigid McCollion was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Wander Wald Soccer walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
