With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hílton Trevisan in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iza Legorburu saved Jardín Demoledor from getting behind. 24 minutes into the game, Estevez Urdiales was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jardín Demoledor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Recife Pe the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Jardín Demoledor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Estevez Urdiales to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hílton Trevisan in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iza Legorburu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomás Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavica Casanoves was the one to do the kick off. Nelson Brito's late challenge caught a Jardín Demoledor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelson Brito helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Recife Pe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Brito to maneuver through the defense. Jardín Demoledor's Gavica Casanoves came free and shot a quick shot against goal 95 minutes in the game, fortunately Tomás Berger had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Despite being the better team, Jardín Demoledor failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
