Gu Zhan Wei came out of the goal and João Carlos Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the last second Meng Yu Hui throw himself and got hold of the ball when Estefan Flamenco in the 10thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Meng Yu Hui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa from getting a goal against them. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Mesquita in the 19th minute of play. When Estefan Flamenco fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia Santista CIMZ's protests and gave Estefan Flamenco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Academia Santista CIMZ's Estefan Flamenco got a free kick in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Carlos Mesquita in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gu Zhan Wei saved Academia Santista CIMZ from getting behind. Gu Zhan Wei came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's João Carlos Mesquita. But to his dismay, João Carlos Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. João Carlos Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gu Zhan Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Carlos Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Academia Santista CIMZ defense, João Carlos Mesquita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gu Zhan Wei. The Academia Santista CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gu Zhan Wei should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Mesquita came free, but Gu Zhan Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Academia Santista CIMZ defense, João Carlos Mesquita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gu Zhan Wei. The Academia Santista CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gu Zhan Wei should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute João Carlos Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Zhan Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Mesquita in the 43rd minute of play. João Carlos Mesquita might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gu Zhan Wei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Carlos Mesquita ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Mesquita in the 44th minute of play forced Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meng Yu Hui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Estefan Flamenco in the 48th minute of the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Estefan Flamenco made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Estefan Flamenco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meng Yu Hui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gu Zhan Wei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Carlos Mesquita went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's zone, Estefan Flamenco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meng Yu Hui came out of the goal and Estefan Flamenco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Carlos Mesquita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gu Zhan Wei having to make a save. Gu Zhan Wei made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when João Carlos Mesquita sent off a good shot on target. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Sal Darby was substituted for Richard da Fonseca. Meng Yu Hui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Pontes in the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thibault Delanoë. In the last second Gu Zhan Wei throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sal Darby in the 70thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A very nice done corner allowed Luciano Maciel to score against Gu Zhan Wei in Academia Santista CIMZ's goal. 0-5 after 72 minutes. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Gu Zhan Wei successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Sal Darby in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia Santista CIMZ's goalie prevented a goal. In the 82nd minute of the match Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa got a corner. Academia Santista CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Flavien Deregnaucourt ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Sal Darby was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gu Zhan Wei in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 85th minute of the match Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa got a corner. Academia Santista CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Flavien Deregnaucourt ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Flavien Deregnaucourt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gu Zhan Wei quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 90th minute, Sal Darby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gu Zhan Wei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 93rd minute of the match, Thibault Delanoë got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gu Zhan Wei was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. João Carlos Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gu Zhan Wei having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Luciano Maciel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Academia Santista CIMZ's Dé Fontes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
