Meng Yu Hui came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil. But to his dismay, Ciro Brasil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thibault Delanoë fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Nogueira having to interfere. João Carlos Mesquita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Orlando Nogueira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 12 played minutes Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Salles. Orlando Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thibault Delanoë, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Albino Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meng Yu Hui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If João Carlos Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, AKI CORINTHIANS's Orlando Nogueira got control of the ball when João Carlos Mesquita tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Ibar in the 22nd minute of play forced Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goalkeeper Meng Yu Hui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ciro Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the AKI CORINTHIANS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Brasil couldn't finish the play. João Carlos Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AKI CORINTHIANS's Orlando Nogueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save AKI CORINTHIANS from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that Richard da Fonseca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Orlando Nogueira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 33rd minute Thibault Delanoë shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Richard da Fonseca in the 36th minute really tested Orlando Nogueira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Orlando Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, João Carlos Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orlando Nogueira made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when João Carlos Mesquita sent off a good shot on target. The wind increased when Albino Ibar made the kick off in the second half. Meng Yu Hui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Brasil in the 54th minute of play. Alfred Schrijns made a great header on AKI CORINTHIANS's corner, it was just that Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Meng Yu Hui managed to reach the ball for a save. Thibault Delanoë sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa.
