The audience thought a goal was coming when Habil Castolo got free with Gustavo Loreto in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute of the match, Habil Castolo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gustavo Loreto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Damaso Lain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Aires having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Cityzens Mdz's Damaso Lain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinicio Aires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, the xeneise dream team's Genaro Farias got a free kick in the 19th minute. Henning Sander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Vinicio Aires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Cityzens Mdz's Gustavo Loreto got control of the ball when Qian Cheng Xing tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustavo Loreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qian Cheng Xing, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Habil Castolo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Gustavo Loreto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Lain in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinicio Aires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, Cityzens Mdz's goal looked a bit too open when Qian Cheng Xing came free, but Gustavo Loreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Damaso Lain made the kick off in the second half. The the xeneise dream team fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when the xeneise dream team's Qian Cheng Xing looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vinicio Aires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Damaso Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Aires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The the xeneise dream team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 92 played minutes Cityzens Mdz got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Urdin. Paolo Eutor scored 3-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Loreto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
