The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of FC Kurdistan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of A4p FC Gad:s goal. FC Kurdistan:s Alaaddin Solskjær showed great skill when he stopped Marcin Pachucki:s penalty. A collision led to A4p FC Gad getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cătălin Răduleț hit a great ball. Alaaddin Solskjær showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Batistuta in the 17th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glenn Fyfe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörgen Levander in the 18th minute. Alaaddin Solskjær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Alessandro Del Piero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alaaddin Solskjær. FC Kurdistan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessandro Del Piero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alaaddin Solskjær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. King Scorpio scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alaaddin Solskjær, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fredric Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Glenn Fyfe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes A4p FC Gad got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Purcărete. Glenn Fyfe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörgen Levander in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Glenn Fyfe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Levander in the 54th minute of the match. FC Kurdistan's Ubaldo Ritchie was substituted for Jörgen Levander. A4p FC Gad's Gică Busuioc was substituted for James Batistuta. A4p FC Gad's Flavius Cândroveanu was substituted for Alessandro Del Piero. A sloppy throw-in by Gez Mason in the 69th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Kurdistan's Keefer Carragher. Alaaddin Solskjær showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute Fredric Hybbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. King Scorpio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Fredric Hybbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredric Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Glenn Fyfe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Fredric Hybbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cătălin Răduleț kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Glenn Fyfe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roni Ronaldinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
