Thorkil Husig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Vladimirescu having to interfere. Cristian Vladimirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Breckenfeld in the 24th minute of the match. Santo Damario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Fabrício Falcão made a huge save. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Riesgo Cero's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Henk Linder was slow to take the kick. During this time Jurupeba FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Henk Linder almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu did a great save. Riesgo Cero's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Emeterio in the 32nd minute.
