The audience was convinced that Atilla Açıkalın's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Babbis Kousis was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After having played for 7 minutes, Ulf Bokelund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulf Bokelund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bohumil Horčička in the 11th minute of play forced Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalkeeper Batıkan Muhsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilla Açıkalın's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Babbis Kousis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Batıkan Muhsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bohumil Horčička, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. FK Luku Tábor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michal Doseděl in the 18th minute. It was a well-played corner which Václav Kubíček managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Atilla Açıkalın struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Babbis Kousis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC. 29 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Babbis Kousis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilla Açıkalın in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Babbis Kousis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atilla Açıkalın's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Babbis Kousis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Atilla Açıkalın made a precise shot to the right of Babbis Kousis. FK Luku Tábor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Atilla Açıkalın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Babbis Kousis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Açıkalın, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 44 played minutes FK Luku Tábor got a freekick which was hit by Ctirad Večerka. If Atilla Açıkalın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilla Açıkalın might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Babbis Kousis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atilla Açıkalın ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atilla Açıkalın to make the kick off. With a little luck, FK Luku Tábor's Babbis Kousis got control of the ball when Ulf Bokelund tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 60th minute, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Babbis Kousis. Babbis Kousis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Napoleon Podolski came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Babbis Kousis could save by the left post. The Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Kasper Häll was substituted for Atilla Açıkalın. With his leg Babbis Kousis managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Kasper Häll fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Oğuzalp Yetiş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babbis Kousis having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Kasper Häll cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Babbis Kousis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Ulf Bokelund got a free kick in the 85th minute. FK Luku Tábor's Jaroslav Daňo was substituted for Libor Netopil. A collision led to Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bernardo Sasso hit a great ball. Michal Doseděl took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Batıkan Muhsin. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kasper Häll might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Babbis Kousis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kasper Häll ran back to his position shaking his head. Kasper Häll succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 93rd playminute. The FK Luku Tábor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
