The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC WOUDOO's goalkeeper Marcinho Secco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee gave Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kurtuluş Senih, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC WOUDOO's Marcinho Secco. 0-1. Batıkan Muhsin made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Chris Schnorre sent off a good shot on target. When Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC WOUDOO's goalie prevented a goal. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oğuzalp Yetiş in the 14th minute. After taking down the ball on Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's corner Oğuzalp Yetiş fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcinho Secco quite easily take care of the ball. Ulf Bokelund kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Atilla Açıkalın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcinho Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Açıkalın, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Atilla Açıkalın put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Marcinho Secco. FC WOUDOO's Marcinho Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Man Tas in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ulf Bokelund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulf Bokelund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcinho Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Epifanio Marin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Man Tas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcinho Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Man Tas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcinho Secco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC got a corner. FC WOUDOO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oğuzalp Yetiş ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Ulf Bokelund to score against Marcinho Secco in FC WOUDOO's goal. 0-4 after 55 minutes. 58 minutes in the game, Man Tas dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC WOUDOO's goalkeeper Marcinho Secco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Epifanio Marin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulf Bokelund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Marcinho Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Man Tas in the 66th minute of play forced FC WOUDOO's goalkeeper Marcinho Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC WOUDOO's Marcinho Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Man Tas in the 67th minute of play. Marcinho Secco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Man Tas went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, FC WOUDOO's goal looked a bit too open when Man Tas came free, but Marcinho Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Kasper Häll was substituted for Man Tas. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Hasan Tahsin Polatalp was substituted for Kurtuluş Senih. In the 82ndth minute of the game Kasper Häll who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC WOUDOO's Marcinho Secco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kasper Häll in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcinho Secco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 85th match minute, FC WOUDOO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolai Brand to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Kasper Häll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcinho Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasper Häll took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcinho Secco. Marcinho Secco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
