The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Danila Anikeichik made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Ali Erdem Özsungur sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Atilla Açıkalın's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danila Anikeichik was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After 10 minutes of play, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danila Anikeichik was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Napoleon Podolski could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Danila Anikeichik however easily saved by the left post. Arsenal FC's Danila Anikeichik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal FC from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Danila Anikeichik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atilla Açıkalın blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danila Anikeichik having to make a save. Danila Anikeichik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilla Açıkalın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Napoleon Podolski came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Danila Anikeichik could save by the left post. Atilla Açıkalın in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Danila Anikeichik, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 31 minutes into the match, Atilla Açıkalın had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danila Anikeichik. Arsenal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilla Açıkalın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Danila Anikeichik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Açıkalın in the 35th minute of the match. Danila Anikeichik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atilla Açıkalın went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Austen Coulson in the 40th minute of play forced Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalkeeper Batıkan Muhsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Atilla Açıkalın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilla Açıkalın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kasper Häll in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danila Anikeichik saved Arsenal FC from getting behind. After 93 minutes, Kasper Häll made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. Arsenal FC's Danila Anikeichik tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the game, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Kasper Häll nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danila Anikeichik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC fully deserved thier win.
