Marin Manea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Schirru having to interfere. Eugenio Schirru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Iurea in the 12th minute of play. Apocalypto's Eugenio Schirru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Vernescu in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Vernescu in the 18th minute of play forced Apocalypto's goalkeeper Eugenio Schirru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avram Iurea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Schirru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Iurea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Schirru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Vernescu in the 28th minute of the match. Apocalypto's Eugenio Schirru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Manea in the 31st minute of play. BVB 09's Zygmunt Koprowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save BVB 09 from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iacob Vernescu was the one to do the kick off. Iacob Vernescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Schirru having to interfere. Iacob Vernescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The supporters of BVB 09 booed when Apocalypto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Capobianco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The BVB 09 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zygmunt Koprowski should have stopped the shot.
