The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Davide Allemandi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th match minute, Valdieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide Allemandi to maneuver through the defense. FC Seitenstecher's Herman Himmelreich got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edoardo Cabrini hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Anfilogino Di Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Burkhart came free, but Eugenio Stefano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marc Maurer scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Stefano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henric Lind in the 27th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Eugenio Stefano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Anfilogino Di Santo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Beatus Schmitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Stefano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Stefano came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Seitenstecher's Henric Lind. But to his dismay, Henric Lind quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The FC Seitenstecher fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when FC Seitenstecher's Boris Burkhart looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beatus Schmitt in the 42nd minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Eugenio Stefano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Maurer in the 44th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Eugenio Stefano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marc Maurer to strike the kick off in the second half. Valdieri's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Marc Maurer scored to the left of an out of position Eugenio Stefano, making the score, 0-6. Eugenio Stefano made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Beatus Schmitt sent off a good shot on target. After 59 played minutes FC Seitenstecher got a freekick which was hit by Beatus Schmitt. Eugenio Stefano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Maurer in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, FC Seitenstecher's Henric Lind dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Henric Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Eugenio Stefano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boris Burkhart scored 0-8 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Stefano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute, Marc Maurer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Stefano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Schmitt in the 78th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Eugenio Stefano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Stefano came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Seitenstecher's Beatus Schmitt. But to his dismay, Beatus Schmitt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Beatus Schmitt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Stefano. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Stefano should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Beatus Schmitt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugenio Stefano. Valdieri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beatus Schmitt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. FC Seitenstecher's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
