Moisés Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Poetass FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dawid Beckham was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC FUSION's players had a chance to rest. AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Moisés Arruda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 14th minute Romulo Abilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes Poetass FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeng Xu Yuan. When Aureliano Karlo came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the AFC FUSION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Karlo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Brysz in the 20th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fernando de Lara made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AFC FUSION's Wojciech Fiszer. Moisés Arruda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Karlo's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Poetass FC! In the 32nd minute Aureliano Karlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Eztebe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Moisés Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The audience was convinced that Jon-Egil Schjelderup's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Eztebe was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Brysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute.
