If Marc Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman De Maria hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Astor Laurentzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Inter Miami's Bernardinho Queirós got control of the ball when Beatus Schmitt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Inter Miami defense, Beatus Schmitt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardinho Queirós. The Inter Miami fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardinho Queirós should have stopped the shot. Silvester Bürgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Laurentzi in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Inter Miami's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marc Maurer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marc Maurer succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 24th playminute. Roman De Maria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bernardinho Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardinho Queirós came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Seitenstecher's Marc Maurer. But to his dismay, Marc Maurer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Silvester Bürgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Natal, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Natalio Natal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvester Bürgi having to interfere. Silvester Bürgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Ariando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Americo Claus charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Americo Claus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th match minute, Inter Miami was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Claus to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marc Maurer to make the kick off. Bernardinho Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Maurer in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute FC Seitenstecher were awarded a corner. Herman Himmelreich went to the cornerflag to take it. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Silvester Bürgi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Beatus Schmitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardinho Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henric Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Tony Cross kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. A hard shot by Timoteo Toli from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Silvester Bürgi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marc Maurer took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardinho Queirós. Bernardinho Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Maurer in the 81st minute of play forced Inter Miami's goalkeeper Bernardinho Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardinho Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Schmitt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inter Miami's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Herman Himmelreich was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Seitenstecher's players had a chance to rest. After 92 played minutes FC Seitenstecher got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Robertson. 94 minutes into the match, FC Seitenstecher's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Ariando came free, but Silvester Bürgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Seitenstecher's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
