Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristian Sanduru took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Nemesio Artal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeo Joey. Cuevas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Artal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ernesto Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Alfredo Bartuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sanduru in the 11th minute of the match. peñarol mdq's Alfredo Bartuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sanduru in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, peñarol mdq's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sanduru came free, but Alfredo Bartuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nemesio Artal came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the peñarol mdq fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Artal couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Bartuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sanduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Bartolo Bikendi hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Asur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Estevon got free with Alfredo Bartuelo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute Cristian Sanduru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Bartuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sanduru in the 41st minute of play forced peñarol mdq's goalkeeper Alfredo Bartuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Bartuelo made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Bartolo Bikendi sent off a good shot on target. After the first half peñarol mdq were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Asur made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Cuevas's Benjamin Estevon made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Bartuelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute, peñarol mdq's Mateo Todor seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mateo Todor the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of peñarol mdq protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mateo Todor had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 58th minute, Mateo Todor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Bartuelo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Estevon went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Leonides Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Nemesio Artal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Artal in the 73rd minute of the match. Nemesio Artal struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Tadeo Joey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for peñarol mdq. Cristian Sanduru took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Bartuelo. Alfredo Bartuelo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, peñarol mdq's Ernesto Calvet got a free kick in the 87th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cuevas fans cheered their team off the field, for while peñarol mdq had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
