Vykans Vikingar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaj Hård was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tage Glanselius in the 14th minute of play. Olof Hamnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jose Indalecio hit a great ball. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Hård, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 27th minute, Vykans Vikingar's Tage Glanselius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Glanselius in the 30th minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Hård came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Lars Norberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Stål in the 41st minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tage Glanselius's late challenge caught a spikarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tage Glanselius helped the player get up and apologised. Tage Glanselius kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Hård came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tage Glanselius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Börje Stål managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vykans Vikingar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Stål was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olof Hamnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olof Hamnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Olof Hamnberg got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th match minute, spikarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Hamnberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Stål in the 57th minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atakan Pepe in the 62nd minute. spikarna's Lars Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Glanselius in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Atakan Pepe could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Marcus Ekrot however easily saved by the left post. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Nordkvist in the 74th minute of play. Börje Stål struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Lars Norberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vykans Vikingar. Vykans Vikingar's Alessandro Micucci was substituted for Emmanuel Dennis. In the 78th minute Sven Nordkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Stål came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kaj Hård had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Genaro Remicio replaced Martin Mutumba. Genaro Remicio kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Kaj Hård hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes spikarna got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Lewicki. The spikarna supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing spikarna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
