Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Beirut Maronites AC's Salah Tawfiq proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Beirut Maronites AC from getting a goal against them. Orbay Onursan hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Suat Egesel came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Beirut Maronites AC's Fawaz Abou Fakr. But to his dismay, Fawaz Abou Fakr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Adnan Rashid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beirut Maronites AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FENERBAHÇE the free kick. After a rather tough play, Beirut Maronites AC's Adnan Rashid got a free kick in the 16th minute. Fawaz Abou Fakr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Suat Egesel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fawaz Abou Fakr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fawaz Abou Fakr in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Suat Egesel saved FENERBAHÇE from getting behind. FENERBAHÇE's Tacettin İplikçi pulled a muscle in his back after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Beirut Maronites AC's Adnan Rashid got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 33 played minutes Yiğit Hidayettin rounded Beirut Maronites AC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Necaettin Dikmen in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salah Tawfiq prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yiğit Hidayettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salah Tawfiq having to interfere. Salah Tawfiq made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beşir Suerkan in the 39th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fawaz Abou Fakr was the one to do the kick off. Necaettin Dikmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Beirut Maronites AC's Fawaz Abou Fakr sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Suat Egesel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Salah Tawfiq showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beşir Suerkan in the 63rd minute of the match. Yiğit Hidayettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Battal Kıvanç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Fawaz Abou Fakr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suat Egesel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Yiğit Hidayettin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FENERBAHÇE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Yiğit Hidayettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yiğit Hidayettin in the 87th minute of play forced Beirut Maronites AC's goalkeeper Salah Tawfiq to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Walid Labib fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beirut Maronites AC's protests and gave Walid Labib a yellow card for diving instead. Necaettin Dikmen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salah Tawfiq having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FENERBAHÇE had played much better football throughout.
