After 3 played minutes KF Ballistet got a freekick which was hit by Jetbardh Çakulli. If Skifter Imeraj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liri Bakaj was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tedi Male showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in KF Ballistet's zone, Esat Çeka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liri Bakaj came out of the goal and Esat Çeka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Skënder Salihaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersi Dibra in the 17th minute of play. After 21st play minutes Tedi Male shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Liri Bakaj and just under the crossbar into goal. Sokol Çelaj kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Ersi Dibra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Skënder Salihaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tedi Male had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nertil Maldini hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Liri Bakaj made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Demirel Sulstarova sent off a good shot on target. Esat Çeka might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Liri Bakaj. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esat Çeka ran back to his position shaking his head. If Esat Çeka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tedi Male in the 47th minute of play forced KF Ballistet's goalkeeper Liri Bakaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tedi Male made a kick off. Liri Bakaj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tedi Male, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Esat Çeka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Liri Bakaj. KF Ballistet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esat Çeka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Mondi Rusi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some careless play in the KF Ballistet defense, Esat Çeka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Liri Bakaj. The KF Ballistet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liri Bakaj should have stopped the shot. Esat Çeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Liri Bakaj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Tedi Male notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of KF Ballistet's Liri Bakaj. Liri Bakaj was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute, Tedi Male left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK LIQENORET fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After a rather tough play, FK LIQENORET's Hetem Xhemollari got a free kick in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Tedi Male had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Liri Bakaj. KF Ballistet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tedi Male was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. KF Ballistet's Arti Zhiva pulled a muscle in his back after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 94 minutes, Esat Çeka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK LIQENORET and the KF Ballistet players grew even worse after the yellow card. KF Ballistet's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FK LIQENORET had won, even though KF Ballistet had held more of the ball.
