The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tedi Male in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hetem Paloka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Igli Shabani hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Erando Palla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Skënder Salihaj having to interfere. Tedi Male could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Hetem Paloka made a huge save. In the 17thth minute of the game Nuçi Baba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK LIQENORET's Skënder Salihaj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 played minutes Polonia Division got a freekick which was hit by Vilson Topulli. FK LIQENORET's Skënder Salihaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erando Palla in the 21st minute of play. Hetem Paloka made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Tedi Male sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute of the match FK LIQENORET got a corner. Polonia Division's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tedi Male ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FK LIQENORET's Erik Çelaj to fire away a dangerous shot which Hetem Paloka despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tedi Male could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Hetem Paloka made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Emilio Shyta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Skënder Salihaj was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Tedi Male took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Hetem Paloka to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esat Çeka in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 44th minute Erando Palla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Skënder Salihaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demirel Sulstarova sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erando Palla to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Polonia Division getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Lek Kume hit a great ball. FK LIQENORET's Skënder Salihaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lek Kume in the 53rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Polonia Division's corner Emilio Shyta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Skënder Salihaj quite easily take care of the ball. Erando Palla might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Skënder Salihaj. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erando Palla ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Tedi Male's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hetem Paloka was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erando Palla in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Skënder Salihaj saved FK LIQENORET from getting behind. A collision led to FK LIQENORET getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fabian Palla hit a great ball. The supporters of Polonia Division booed when FK LIQENORET was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Palla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Polonia Division's Meard Zeqiri got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 70 played minutes Polonia Division got a freekick which was hit by Lek Kume. 75 minutes into the match, FK LIQENORET's goal looked a bit too open when Erando Palla came free, but Skënder Salihaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Polonia Division. Erando Palla stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Skënder Salihaj. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Polonia Division's Emilio Shyta got a free kick in the 86th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Tedi Male managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK LIQENORET's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tedi Male was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tedi Male recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FK LIQENORET's Skënder Salihaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuçi Baba in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes Erando Palla rounded FK LIQENORET's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Polonia Division's Enkelejd Hazgani was substituted for Erando Palla. Polonia Division's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
