Rubens de Amarals short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Ferdia Gough to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Rubens de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Alves in the 72nd minute of play forced Lugdoon's goalkeeper Ferdia Gough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bahamas FC's Rubens de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garrett Robinson struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Falcão Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lugdoon. Ferdia Gough made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agostinho Pombal in the 97th minute. Bahamas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
