In the 15th match minute, FC Trio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Curt Schuber to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute of the match Burhan Umural shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Klaus-Dieter Heisters showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, one of Cilimli SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cilimli SK. The shot was stopped by Utku İpekçi but with some difficulty. After 75 played minutes Cilimli SK got a freekick which was hit by Burhan Umural. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uwe Degener in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Utku İpekçi saved Cilimli SK from getting behind.
