Fernandinho Mangueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawel Pierz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. From close distance Váldson Sergipano pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 12 minutes into the game. After a defensive mix-up in Katchau's zone, Benedykt Domala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandinho Mangueira came out of the goal and Benedykt Domala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Kolbasek's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Garcia came free, but Ignacy Gdaniec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pawel Pierz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kolbasek booed when Katchau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandinho Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Domala in the 27th minute of play. Edgard Hermes charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Hermes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edgard Hermes hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Pawel Pierz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 minutes, Marcus Urbano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Katchau and the Kolbasek players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernandinho Mangueira came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kolbasek's Benedykt Domala. But to his dismay, Benedykt Domala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 34th match minute, Kolbasek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zygmunt Milko to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Ian Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Gdaniec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Garcia struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ignacy Gdaniec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Katchau. A wasted opportunity for Katchau. 95 minutes into the match, Kolbasek's Pawel Pierz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernandinho Mangueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Kolbasek supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kolbasek would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
