In the 36thth minute of the game Toninho Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bayern Vaduz FC's Etienne Meister was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bayern Vaduz FC's goalkeeper Etienne Meister, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dênis Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Marco in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hanspeter Fragasso was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to RMH FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. João de Brito hit a great ball. If Hanspeter Fragasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hans Marco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Dênis Breckenfeld made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Elia Hubers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RMH FC's Cristian Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 played minutes RMH FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Pontes. Etienne Meister made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Silva in the 92nd minute of play. Toninho Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bayern Vaduz FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
