After a rather tough play, Les Tigres's Benigno Felo got a free kick in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehat Kovaçi in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lin Yan Hong saved Les Tigres from getting behind. In the 23rdth minute of the game Mehat Kovaçi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les Tigres's Lin Yan Hong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Tipi in the 25th minute of play. Les Tigres's Lin Yan Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Lluterio in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Equipo were awarded a corner. 贺宽桦 went to the cornerflag to take it. Les Tigres's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Severino Estevez in the 32nd minute. Severino Estevez made a great header on Les Tigres's corner, it was just that Equipo's Ismael Furman managed to reach the ball for a save. Mehat Kovaçi scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lin Yan Hong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lin Yan Hong came out of the goal and Mehat Kovaçi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Les Tigres players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Equipo were winning 0-1.

Les Tigres's Rodolfo Luken was substituted for Silvano Ihazintu. Equipo's Erasmo Jago was substituted for Bruno Beugnet. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehat Kovaçi to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Võsandi came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sid Todd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Les Tigres made a substitution. Edgardo Rojas replaced Lars Rönn. A collision led to Les Tigres getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Patrick Beckham hit a great ball. Equipo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
