The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejandro Gavilanes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Club Atletico Chusca's Leonardo Gumaro was substituted for Baldomero Montae. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kenny Alströmer made a kick off. Lauro Moreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejandro Gavilanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Lauro Moreira scored 0-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Gavilanes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lauro Moreira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atletico Chusca had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
