The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Junior Khan charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Junior Khan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Brooklyn SC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Junior Khan hit a great ball. The supporters of ForestFire booed when Brooklyn SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Smith didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brooklyn SC's Glen Goode played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyrus Keys in the 7th minute of play. In the 10thth minute of the game A.J. Spangler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ForestFire's Emery Garner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jon Smith lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Jon Smith hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Robbie Le Van recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes, Robert Huddleston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ForestFire and the Brooklyn SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Brooklyn SC booed when ForestFire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Huddleston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philip Weathers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emery Garner having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Brooklyn SC's Domenic Ring got a free kick in the 21st minute. Glen Goode made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Le Van in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ForestFire's zone, Philip Weathers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emery Garner came out of the goal and Philip Weathers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Glen Goode had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lewis Light. In the 30th minute, ForestFire's Charlton Daly dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Ernest Chester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernest Chester hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Tuan Zimmerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Glen Goode made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlton Daly in the 45th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Glen Goode to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when A.J. Spangler made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Brooklyn SC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Warren Childers hit a great ball. Brooklyn SC's Glen Goode played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Le Van in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Lewis Light shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glen Goode saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.J. Spanglers short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Emery Garner to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Tuan Zimmerman came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the ForestFire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tuan Zimmerman couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the match, Robbie Le Van had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glen Goode. Brooklyn SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robbie Le Van was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Glen Goode didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robbie Le Van went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. A.J. Spangler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Emery Garner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brooklyn SC's Glen Goode played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lewis Light in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Brooklyn SC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Pascal Dailey hit a great ball. Brooklyn SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
