The audience thought a goal was coming when Milan Croft got free with Tyrone McCracken in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th match minute, Kentucky Mustangs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flint Landrum to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kentucky Mustangs's goalkeeper Tyrone McCracken, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute Khachatryan were awarded a corner. Milan Croft went to the cornerflag to take it. Khachatryan's Milan Croft was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tyrone McCracken in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wade Olson in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Foster Rivers saved Khachatryan from getting behind. Tyrone McCracken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monte Porter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Winfred Curran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyrone McCracken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milan Croft in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute, Hector Welch made a precise shot to the right of Foster Rivers. Khachatryan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Rashad Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tyrone McCracken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Winfred Curran kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Tyrone McCracken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rashad Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Khachatryan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kentucky Mustangs were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rashad Acosta was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Rashad Acosta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tyrone McCracken was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 56th match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keith Arden to maneuver through the defense. Tyrone McCracken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rashad Acosta in the 58th minute of the match. Tyrone McCracken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keith Arden in the 59th minute of play. Milan Croft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tyrone McCracken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tyrone McCracken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rashad Acosta in the 64th minute of the match. Keith Arden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rashad Acosta in the 71st minute of play forced Kentucky Mustangs's goalkeeper Tyrone McCracken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Khachatryan's Jeramy LeBlanc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kentucky Mustangs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milan Croft was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 83rdth minute of the game Rashad Acosta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kentucky Mustangs's Tyrone McCracken was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kentucky Mustangs's Tyrone McCracken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rashad Acosta in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Hector Welch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kentucky Mustangs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khachatryan the free kick. A collision led to Kentucky Mustangs getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Hector Welch hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Khachatryan were the better team. Khachatryan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
