Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Monty Stout started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, ForestFire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewis Light to maneuver through the defense. El Canalla de Chicago's Rudolph Thurman got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Milo Blanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 played minutes El Canalla de Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Rudolph Thurman. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monty Stout in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wes Gillespie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. James Uribe took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wes Gillespie. Wes Gillespie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When ForestFire's Sammy Knowles in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Canalla de Chicago's goalie prevented a goal. Wes Gillespie came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by El Canalla de Chicago's Rudolph Thurman. But to his dismay, Rudolph Thurman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Wes Gillespie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clark Lindsey in the 38th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goal looked a bit too open when Clark Lindsey came free, but Wes Gillespie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wes Gillespie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Stout in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Clark Lindsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Canalla de Chicago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clark Lindsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ForestFire's zone, Monty Stout stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wes Gillespie came out of the goal and Monty Stout tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to El Canalla de Chicago getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Clark Lindsey hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as James Uribe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wes Gillespie. That made the score 0-4 in the 54 minute of play. If Monty Stout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st match minute, ForestFire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milo Blanco to maneuver through the defense. El Canalla de Chicago's Cobi Babcock was substituted for A.J. Fernandez. El Canalla de Chicago made a substitution. Curtis Wiggins replaced Dustin Thome. The supporters of El Canalla de Chicago booed when ForestFire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Warner Boyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Light. After a rather tough play, ForestFire's Milo Blanco got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a little luck, ForestFire's Wes Gillespie got control of the ball when Monty Stout tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Cary Griggs notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of El Canalla de Chicago's Jonah Peck. Jonah Peck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 84 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Milo Blanco. El Canalla de Chicago's Giuseppe Gillis suffered a sore thigh after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lewis Light was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to ForestFire getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Lewis Light hit a great ball. James Uribe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Wes Gillespie made a huge save. The ForestFire fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El Canalla de Chicago were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
