Baiste Mullan hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. A collision led to Milltown FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Berrach Palmer hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Milltown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Senna came free, but Finn McBjarton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Berrach Palmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renan de Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Finn McBjarton made a huge save. Finn McBjarton was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Edgar Gaspar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgar Gaspar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 34 played minutes Milltown FC got a freekick which was hit by Abbot Hamilton. After 38 minutes, Berrach Palmer made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Milan's Hortêncio Vieira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Gaspar in the 42nd minute of play forced Milltown FC's goalkeeper Finn McBjarton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baiste Mullan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Milltown FC's Troy Caffrey got a free kick in the 44th minute. Geovani do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Finn McBjarton made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Berrach Palmer made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Berrach Palmer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milltown FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Milan the free kick. In the 51st minute, Berrach Palmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Amadeu Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abbot Hamilton hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute Renan de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Finn McBjarton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Finn McBjarton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 78th minute Renan de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Finn McBjarton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Milltown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Renan de Almeida came free, but Finn McBjarton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Hortêncio Vieira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Finn McBjarton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Senna in the 93rd minute of play forced Milltown FC's goalkeeper Finn McBjarton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Finn McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
