Torcato Modesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubens Prata in the 34th minute of the match. When 徐光辉 came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Club Atletico Lanus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 徐光辉 couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Lanus's Aquilino Leguizamón got a free kick in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rubens Prata in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torcato Modesto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rubens Prata made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Rubens Prata put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Torcato Modesto. After 72 played minutes, Club Atletico Lanus's Anastasio Gilesindo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dominik Adamus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atletico Lanus reached it. Torcato Modesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Macerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teo Gines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torcato Modesto having to interfere. Torcato Modesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Macerio in the 80th minute of play. Torcato Modesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Macerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
