Songurhan Özertem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dom Maxwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Spartak Ayala hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ziya Erdoğan made the kick off in the second half. The Birstall Bombers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kayserispor's performance. The match ended with a win for Kayserispor.
