In the 39th minute, Cauã Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Woodyat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Valdir Pérez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agnaldo Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Fernandão Loyola made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Birstall Bombers's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto de Salles came free, but Dom Maxwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Brynn Frost sped through União Verde FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valdir Pérez. Brynn Frost could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Valdir Pérez made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Thomas Woodyat made a precise shot to the right of Valdir Pérez. União Verde FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Damian Stride's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdir Pérez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play.
