Hannes Gerig showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 15th minute, Gregg Graber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Anderjoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Vincent in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Vincent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Anderjoli was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Generoso Michael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd match minute, Zelg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thimotheus Nolle to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Eulalio Vincent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galáctico Azul FC™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Vincent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thimotheus Nolle hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Eulalio Vincent had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Anderjoli. Zelg FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eulalio Vincent was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Marian Anderjoli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaspar Magdaleno went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Victor Bernabel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Anderjoli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrico Vogt to make the kick off. Hannes Gerig charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hannes Gerig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Marian Anderjoli managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Galáctico Azul FC™'s Gaspar Magdaleno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 62nd minute Eulalio Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Anderjoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Galáctico Azul FC™'s Eulalio Vincent slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marian Anderjoli. That made the score 1-7 after 65 minutes of play. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Casimiro Ellande was substituted for Gaspar Magdaleno. Marian Anderjoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Vincent in the 72nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eulalio Vincent in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Anderjoli saved Zelg FC from getting behind. In the 84th minute Eulalio Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Anderjoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zelg FC's Marian Anderjoli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Zelg FC from getting a goal against them. In the 87thth minute of the game Eulalio Vincent who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zelg FC's Marian Anderjoli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Ellande got free with Marian Anderjoli in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Zelg FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galáctico Azul FC™'s performance. The match ended with a win for Galáctico Azul FC™.
