Scarborough Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Surujrattan Baboolal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tvrtko Ćorić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Subhas Persaud in the 43rd minute of play forced Duga Resa's goalkeeper Tvrtko Ćorić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tvrtko Ćorić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Surujrattan Baboolal in the 58th minute of play. Surujrattan Baboolal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tvrtko Ćorić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikola Tolić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Sugar Robinson made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Surujrattan Baboolal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tvrtko Ćorić was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Dobroslav Mangafić might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sugar Robinson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Scarborough Town supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Duga Resa's performance. The match ended with a win for Duga Resa.
