In the 15thth minute of the game Călin Roşoga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scarborough Town's Sugar Robinson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nick Peru kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Lucian Dancu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manole Danciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Solomon Achong in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgil Stolojan during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Virgil Stolojan hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Solomon Achong's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manole Danciu was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 37th match minute, Loraul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Călin Roşoga to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 55th minute Călin Roşoga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sugar Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loraul's Iacob Ştefoi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ancil Austin, made in the 57th minute of the game. Subhas Kenny kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Subhas Persaud hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Scarborough Town's zone, Virgil Stolojan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sugar Robinson came out of the goal and Virgil Stolojan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Loraul getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Virgil Stolojan hit a great ball. The supporters of Loraul booed when Scarborough Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Surujrattan Baboolal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sugar Robinson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Loraul's Călin Roşoga shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. If Ronnie Voisin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Loraul left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Scarborough Town.
