With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdo Veloso in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Recai Keçeli saved VASCO DA GAMA from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in VASCO DA GAMA's zone, Valdo Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Recai Keçeli came out of the goal and Valdo Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdo Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute Valdo Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Recai Keçeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match Dinamo Colorado got a corner. VASCO DA GAMA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michal Glozor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Xavi Hernandez was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Fabrício Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krzysztof Piczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Dinamo Colorado's Valdo Veloso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Glozor got free with Recai Keçeli in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute of the match, Valdo Veloso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Recai Keçeli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Dinamo Colorado's Valdo Veloso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Recai Keçeli. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. 39 minutes into the game, 徐远翀 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fabrício Negri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, VASCO DA GAMA's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Veloso came free, but Recai Keçeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdo Veloso to make the kick off. Recai Keçeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Fabrício Negri came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by VASCO DA GAMA's 徐远翀. But to his dismay, 徐远翀 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Dinamo Colorado's Davi Lamonica was substituted for Valdo Veloso. Recai Keçeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Lamonica in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Lamonica in the 68th minute of play forced VASCO DA GAMA's goalkeeper Recai Keçeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Dinamo Colorado were awarded a corner. Michal Glozor went to the cornerflag to take it. After 71 played minutes Dinamo Colorado got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Fernandes. Krzysztof Piczak struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Fabrício Negri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VASCO DA GAMA. After 76 minutes VASCO DA GAMA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michal Glozor who took care of the corner kick. The audience cheered when Michal Glozor's long shot passed Recai Keçeli's right side. It was 4-2, 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Lamonica in the 84th minute of play forced VASCO DA GAMA's goalkeeper Recai Keçeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krzysztof Piczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Negri having to interfere. VASCO DA GAMA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
