Clube's zone, Alisson De Gasperi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Simões came out of the goal and Alisson De Gasperi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Leite in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio Simões saved Volta Redonda F. Clube from getting behind. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Moraes made a kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Simões showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hélder Lago's late challenge caught a Volta Redonda F. Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Lago helped the player get up and apologised. Sílvio Simões came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Uai MzC™'s Enrique Leite. But to his dismay, Enrique Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sporting Uai MzC™ fully deserved thier win.
