With a little luck, vascão o Melhor's Kevin Muro got control of the ball when Aírton Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kevin Muro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Tepedino in the 10th minute of the match. Alexandre Tepedino kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 17thth minute. Though ot was a great shot vascão o Melhor's keeper Kevin Muro was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by vascão o Melhor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aírton Sousa was slow to take the kick. During this time Vascogoianiense FC's players had a chance to rest. João Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Muro having to interfere. Kevin Muro was a little too slow when João Pirani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 3-0. After a rather tough play, vascão o Melhor's Wellington Cabral got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Tepedino in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Muro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gust Deflandre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Alexandre Tepedino put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kevin Muro. In the 44th minute Vascogoianiense FC were awarded a corner. Aírton Sousa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Aírton Sousa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but vascão o Melhor's Kevin Muro did a great save. Vascogoianiense FC were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after vascão o Melhor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aírton Sousa took the corner. In the 47th minute Vascogoianiense FC were awarded a corner. Aírton Sousa went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Vascogoianiense FC's corner Aírton Sousa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kevin Muro quite easily take care of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gust Deflandre to make the kick off. Alexandre Tepedino scored 5-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kevin Muro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Vascogoianiense FC booed when vascão o Melhor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, vascão o Melhor's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Sousa came free, but Kevin Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Muro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Falcão de Godoi's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Dorian Quirino charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorian Quirino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Dorian Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vascogoianiense FC made a substitution. Edmílson Fernandez replaced 康渊霆. Dorian Quirino hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Gilmar Monteiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kevin Muro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilmar Monteiro ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton Sousa in the 63rd minute of play forced vascão o Melhor's goalkeeper Kevin Muro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Aírton Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Muro was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The Vascogoianiense FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0.
