Nelsinho Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Silva in the 12th minute of play. When Angelo Maria came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Vascogoianiense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Maria couldn't finish the play. After 16 played minutes Vascogoianiense FC got a freekick which was hit by Bob Oconnell. Nelsinho Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Secco in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th minute Caio Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Maria might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egídio Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Maria ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Egídio Salgado got control of the ball when Angelo Maria tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Augusto Secco in the 27th minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. Nelsinho Leite came out of the goal and Israel Frascuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. MOC ⚽'s goalkeeper Egídio Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Maria. Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Silva in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Frascuelo in the 42nd minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Caio Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nelsinho Leite was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

MOC ⚽'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Augusto Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Tepedino in the 64th minute of play forced ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goalkeeper Egídio Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Tepedino took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egídio Salgado. Egídio Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 67th minute Domenico Faieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Maria might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egídio Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Maria ran back to his position shaking his head. Nelsinho Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Faieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Emilio Macchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. Vascogoianiense FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Domenico Faieta scored to the left of an out of position Nelsinho Leite, making the score, 1-3. Waldemar Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Vascogoianiense FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
