Sporting Uai MzC™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ringo Rau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ringo Rau in the 7th minute of play forced Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper Fabrício Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabrício Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ringo Rau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes Sporting Uai MzC™ got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Baptista. 15 minutes into the match, Sporting Uai MzC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Veloso came free, but Charles Müller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Sporting Uai MzC™'s Ringo Rau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabrício Negri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Dinamo Colorado's Valdo Veloso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 26 minutes of play, Dinamo Colorado's Oséias Veloso made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles Müller was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36thth minute of the game Ringo Rau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Dinamo Colorado booed when Sporting Uai MzC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Dulemba didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Valdo Veloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charles Müller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. If Ringo Rau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
