Evaristo Arósio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zac Ba Loua. MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save MARINUS MZC from getting a goal against them. When Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Lenílson Gomes in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MARINUS MZC's goalie prevented a goal. 15 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Evaristo Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Moraes. 16 minutes into the game, Zac Ba Loua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MARINUS MZC the free kick. Zac Ba Loua kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Perivaldo Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alan Moraes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Evaristo Arósio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zac Ba Loua in the 29th minute. In the 32nd match minute, MARINUS MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabo D Agostino in the 37th minute of play forced MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Evaristo Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Munhoz's late challenge caught a Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Munhoz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute of the match Zac Ba Loua shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evaristo Arósio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jefferson Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARINUS MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Albuquerque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karim Bado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sabo D Agostino struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Evaristo Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Verde F.C CIMZ. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lenílson Gomes in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute, Sabo D Agostino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdo Guimarães was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Daniel Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3-0 came in the 54th minute when Zac Ba Loua all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Evaristo Arósio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Moraes in the 58th minute of play forced MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Evaristo Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Arósio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lenílson Gomes's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when MARINUS MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lenílson Gomes in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Arósio saved MARINUS MZC from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Sabo D Agostino made a precise shot to the right of Evaristo Arósio. MARINUS MZC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Daniel Munhoz got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 72nd minute, Daniel Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Lenílson Gomes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 79 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Lenílson Gomes came free, but Evaristo Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabo D Agostino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Sabo D Agostino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Arósio. MARINUS MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sabo D Agostino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The audience was convinced that Lenílson Gomes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Arósio was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Evaristo Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabo D Agostino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 97 minutes of play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Lenílson Gomes made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Arósio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
